Dr. Stephen Cerrone
Dr. Stephen Cerrone serves as a strategic advisor to Growth2Success (G2S), bringing more than three decades of senior executive and advisory experience across large, complex global enterprises. Over the course of his career, he has held Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer roles within Fortune 500 organizations, including Hudson’s Bay Company, where his responsibilities spanned brands such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Lord & Taylor, and Hudson’s Bay, as well as senior leadership roles at Sara Lee Corporation and JPMorgan Chase. He has also held senior human resources and organizational leadership positions at Diageo and Burger King, General Foods, and SunEdison.
Dr. Cerrone’s work has focused on building high-performing organizations, designing leadership and talent systems, and guiding enterprises through periods of significant growth, transformation, and structural change. He has extensive experience advising boards of directors and executive teams on succession planning, organizational design, leadership development, culture, and large-scale integration following acquisitions or strategic shifts. His perspective is informed by operating at scale within highly regulated, global environments where governance, accountability, and long-term workforce strategy are critical.
In addition to his advisory role with G2S, Dr. Cerrone is an Associate Professor of Professional Practice at the University of Miami Herbert Business School, where he teaches leadership and management and mentors senior and emerging executives. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Providence College and a Master of Arts and Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Houston. He is also a recipient of the Academy of Management’s Distinguished Executive Award, recognizing his contributions to leadership practice and organizational effectiveness.
